This was our first look at Winifred and it touched our hearts. Little did we know the pain she was feeling. |
10-26-27: Thank you from Winnie's Foster
I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who helped with Winnie's Chip In for her surgery!! Just to let you know our goal was $800 based on the estimate. The surgery came to $907 and we raised $849!!! We at the rescue are extremely grateful for all the wonderful people who made it possible to save this very special girl!!! It really is true that every little bit counts. Winnie is doing great and is on the road to recovery. It is amazing how much happier her personality is already! We are very hopeful that she will be in a wonderful new furever home soon!!!

DEBRA...
"I am the person fostering Winifred aka Winnie and I sent out the original message asking for help. I actually work at a rescue but, we like most do not take owner surrenders so I was simply trying to crosspost for the lady who found Winnie. HOWEVER, once I realized that Winnie was injured and not just in need of a home of course we took her in to our rescue. She is scheduled to have her leg amputated tomorrow and now we are just trying to raise money to cover her surgery. Winnie's ChipIn For more pictures and updates check Winnie's Facebook Page
