NY/NJ - OREO, a beautiful Bobtail Tuxedo Cat after being passed up too many times for cute little kittens is giving up...

PLEASE HELP THIS BOY FIND A GOOD HOME.
"Oreo is stunning. Oreo is sweet. Oreo is great with other cats, and even dogs."

"Rescued from a kill shelter, he has been living in a crate for months, passed over again and again as people choose "cute little kittens" over him. He is shut down and depressed, and he needs a forever home (or even a foster in a home environment) NOW. He is approx 1 1/2 to 2 years old, fiv/felv neg UTD on shots and really just a perfect cat. Oreo needs a loving human to bring him back to life. He is medium haired, has stunning Tuxedo markings, and cute little bobtail."

L.A., CA shelter, Please help save beautiful, neglected Jitterbug

*From Andrea:  $200 pledges to save this precious girl's life but there's no time left so please answer her prayers now...!!!  thank you!!  THE KIND OF DOG THAT MAKES YOU SO SAD
YOUTUBE VIDEO: http://youtu.be/Rr6PXWsJORA
WHO IS SHE? Jitterbug (A1244878, 2 years old, a solid 53 pounds) *From Andrea: ... has never known the joy of dancing, of being carefree.  Ignored, probably beaten, she came into the shelter, collar embedded in her neck, with a litter of puppies.  Her impound photo said it all  --  head bowed down, no hope in life.  That was all I saw for quite a while  --  even though I walked by her kennel at the annex.  I never noticed the sweet soul, waiting for someone to pay a drop of attention to her.  She blends in, she's dark and reserved.  She must have looked up at me, sadness covering her, dragging her down. Everyone who meets Jitterbug now comments on her amazing orange brindle coat and her Roman nose.  They find her charming. want to take her out dancing and show her some happiness at last.  Jitterbug has learned to wag her tail and will take on a play bow when you come to visit.  She's devoted to those who reach out to pet her, talk her for a walk.  Jitterbug does fine with her kennel mate and that seems to be true with all other dogs.  Jitterbug is all heart plus a few dance steps that she's waiting to show you.  Please consider adopting / rescuing this girl who is out of time.
WHERE IS SHE? You can meet her at the South L.A. shelter  3612 11th Ave., L.A. 90018
HOW CAN YOU HELP HER?  Call (213) 485-0117 or -0119 and ask for A1244878.

And please let me know if you do save her  --  as others always ask what has happened after pleas are circulated.  With thanks, Andrea   ivegonetothedogs@gmail.com (323) 363-4909

Iowa - Lovable Long Haired Doxie with IVVD

WHO AM I?  My name is Mars and I’ve been told that I am “out of this world” cute and sweet!  I have IVVD and that scared my owner who doesn’t think he can care for me.  I wish he could understand that not being able to use your back legs is not a death sentence and that with a little help, I’ll be just fine.

A wonderful doctor named Dr. Holland is trying to help find me a new home.    It is too late for me to have surgery, so I am doing some crate rest right now, but I am a healthy 4 year old boy and she knows that I would do great in a cart. I’ve been neutered and up to date on all my shots.  A nice lady has offered to give me my own wheelchair and I just can’t wait to bring my “wheels” with me to my new home – I just know we will have a ball!
WHERE AM I? Iowa

HOW CAN YOU HELP?   If you have any questions or want to see me (and maybe take me home!), please contact Chris at 515-344-1242 or email eholland@mchsi.com
Wait till I have my wheels, then I'll race ya!
Please help get the word out by crossposting and sharing Mars far and wide.  He deserves to live the life he loves so much.
